This year’s National Conference on Education (NCE) is held in Phoenix, Az., beginning February 11 – February 13. According to David Schuler, president of the American Association of School Administrators (AASA), “educational leaders from across the country will have the opportunity to come together, learn from each other and dive into the critical issues that are facing our school districts.”

The theme for the National Conference on Education is “Leading for Excellence.” The conference is “the most comprehensive professional development and networking event for school superintendents and administrators. It delivers world-class education, speakers, thought-provoking sessions and agendas that are rich in content” for our nation’s school administrators, according to Daniel A. Domenech, executive director of the American Association of School Administrators. AASA has been in existence for over a century and a half serving as a premier voice for public education in the U.S.

With more than 200 companies dedicated to K-12 education available to visit at the NCE Marketplace, some of the topics for the conference include: instructional leadership, social media, leadership, common core standards, superintendent school board relationships, innovative technology and poverty and equity in schools.
